Learn About Business Opportunities and Equity Goals at Home Forward
Businesses interested in working with Home Forward are invited to attend a Coffee and Issues Forum at the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs on Friday, October 26 from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.
Steve Rudman, Home Forward's executive director, will discuss upcoming contracting opportunities and the agency's equity goals. His talk will focus on how Home Forward works with minority-owned and women-owned firms, as well as businesses that qualify for the federal Section 3 program. The program, which Home Forward supports, provides job training and business opportunities to low and very low-income individuals.
Following the coffee, Home Forward and the City of Portland will provide detailed information and answer questions on Section 3 to help attendees understand the program's benefits and requirements for qualification.
