Gresham Civic Station is a 60-unit affordable housing development for families, located adjacent to the Civic Station MAX stop in Gresham. The project is a co-development with IRCO (Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization), which includes a 4-classroom Early Learning Center operated by IRCO through Preschool for All, along with an on-site workforce programming space and a shared ownership role.
The building is designed for sustainability and long-term operating efficiency, with rooftop and carport solar arrays, no natural gas, high-efficiency HVAC and heat pump water heaters, and high-performance windows and insulation.
Gresham Civic Station sits in the heart of the Civic neighborhood, a transit-oriented, walkable district next to the MAX line and the new Gresham library, with grocery, education, and medical services all within reach. Also included as part of the project is the buildout of Sleret Ave with district stormwater infrastructure made possible by a Oregon Business Development grant.
