Home Forward is opening the waitlist for our newest apartment community at NE Killingsworth and 42nd Ave. (next to the PCC Opportunity Center at 42nd Avenue). See if you qualify below and come back here on June 2-6 to add your name to the waitlist. It’s first come, first served, so don’t wait!

About the Apartment Community

This new affordable apartment community is at NE Killingsworth and 42nd Ave. and will open in July 2025. The apartment homes are co-located with the PCC Opportunity Center at 42nd Ave. It is a vibrant community hub for opportunity.

The 4-story apartment community was developed by Home Forward and the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) on land donated by Portland Community College (PCC). The community offers 84 studios, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedrooms.

Affordable Rents 

The rent here is lower than average for the area. The amount most residents pay is not based on income (subsidized). You do have to make 60% or below the Area Median Income (AMI) to live here. Rent amounts vary based on unit size (exact amounts TBA). See the below chart for income guidelines.
