Hattie Redmond Apartments Completed in 2023, the Hattie Redmond Apartments provides 60 units of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) in the Kenton neighborhood for people exiting homelessness. Located in the historic center of Portland’s Black/African American community, the Hattie Redmond is a collaboration between Home Forward and the Urban League of Portland, dedicated to serving individuals who have experienced homelessness and request culturally specific services for African Americans. PCC Killingsworth Housing Site Home Forward is developing a new 84-unit project in the Cully neighborhood of Northeast Portland. Through a collaboration with Portland Community College (PCC), the new project will co-locate affordable housing with PCC’s brand-new Workforce Development Center and will offer a 16,000 square foot plaza designed to support a weekly farmers market and other community-focused activities, with Wi-Fi access throughout. York Terrace York Terrace is an 85-unit project near downtown Troutdale, serving families and individuals. The project is located on a 3.5-acre site donated by Multnomah County. The project is primarily funded with Metro Bond Funds and OHCS funds. The project has 25 project- based Regional Long-Term Rent Assistance (RLRA) funded by Supportive Housing Services funds. These rent assisted units will serve individuals and families with very low incomes; referrals for larger units are expected to come from the Multnomah Stability Initiative program. Peaceful Villa Home Forward plans to redevelop Peaceful Villa in 2024. This decision affects the 70 households who currently call Peaceful Villa home, and those who will move into the newly constructed homes. The redevelopment process includes several phases. Residents currently living at the property will have opportunities to make choices about the relocation process before the construction begins in 2024.
